"Students were given the opportunity to study the brochures and set a goal for the amount they wanted to raise or the prize they worked for. Once they had set their goal they then worked hard to obtain it. The Fun Run itself was terrific because we invited members of our community to participate as guides therefore there was lots of community involvement.
The bigger kids actually ran a course that took them through the streets of our community. The whole community clapped and cheered as the kids ran past. Next year we plan to have important members of our community participating again – both in the fundraising and the fun run."
