WHY CHOOSE AN ENVIRONMENTAL FUNDRAISER

The Green Up Clean Up is a sponsorship based healthy fundraising event. Students seek sponsorship from the local community, friends and family members for taking part. They then learn about practical ways that empower them to make positive impacts on their local environment. Simple solutions like planting native trees, not littering and recycling are at the centre of the Green Up Clean Up.

You can hold a Green Up Clean Up at any time but most schools and groups are using the event to raise money and set an educational platform in conjunction with an existing environment day like: World Environment Day, Schools Tree Day, Earth Day, Clean Up The World Day, Clean Up Australia Day, National Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful Week, World Habitat Day or Landcare Week.

The programs is perfect for this as students plant native trees, perform a rubbish pick-up, learn about recycling and complete a 10 Point Environmental Action plan designed to make their home greener.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

1. Select the best time of year to hold the Green Up Clean Up and call us today on 1300 733 788. Remember, you can use the Green Up in conjunction with an environment day or you can hold it as a stand alone event at any time of year.
2. We will then launch the fundraiser at your school assembly (metro schools only). If you are a regional school we will send you a DVD to introduce the program for you.
3. You will then receive your Ready Set Go Pack. In it you will find your coordinator's guide, full colour sponsorship forms, prize posters, rubbish bags, rubber gloves, native seeds, 10 point environmental action plans, teachers kits, and much more help and support; in fact everything you need to make this program a huge success!
4. Students will then use the full colour sponsorship forms to seek sponsorship from friends, family and the local community for cleaning up and improving the local environment.  Your students will be motivated by our great range of incentive prizes.
5. After the event, collect and bank all monies raised.  The Teacher Kits will aid you in this task. Once you have established the total amount raised we will send our invoices and you can place your main prize order (for student incentive prizes).
6. You can lodge your prize order form either online or via fax.  We will dispatch your prizes, Highest Fundraising Medal, School Achievement Certificate and much more the same day.
